Who am I. I’m an pretty average person. I’m a mom with two kids, one husband and five cats. I work full time at a desk job, and I have struggled with my weight, exercise and eating habits for a few years now, and after trying many fad diets and failing miserably at them all I decided it was time to stop. Two years ago I started doing exercise I enjoy and trying to make healthier food choices, and now, while I may not be thin, I’m happy, healthy and full of energy.
I find that too many people focus on the number on the scales at the sake of their well being. So this blog is not about losing weight, it’s about being happy and healthy. I love exercise, and I think it’s one of the best things you can do for yourself, so this blog promotes that. I love body positivity, because if you can’t look at yourself in the mirror and think you’re sexy, than you will have a much harder time making good choices for your body. I love food, and I’m trying to eat foods that make me and my body feel good, food is fuel, but it’s also good times with friends and family, and restricting yourself is never a good idea because it will just make you miserable and ruin all the other good things you’re doing.
This blog isn’t about losing weight, it’s about being healthy, and sometimes those are two entirely different things.
By the way, I’m not a doctor or a personal trainer, so you really don’t need to listen to me at all.
